LAYER BARS

This layer bar is a must make! To make it even better you can top it with anything you like such as: rolos, toffee bar bits, salted caramel, pecans, m&m's...anything you would like!!!

mmmm...Layer Bars

Serves 30

A delicious version of a layer bar with a brownie base and tons of yummy goodness baked on top

Prep Time - 20 min

Cook Time - 45 min

Total Time - 1 hr 30 min

Ingredients
3 oz bittersweet chocolate
3 oz semisweet chocolate
1/2 cup butter
1 cup flour
1/2 tsp baking powder
1/2 tsp salt
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup brown sugar
2 eggs
2 tsp vanilla extract
1/2 cup chocolate chips
1/2 cup peanut butter chips
1/2 cup Miniatures Peanut Butter Cups, chopped into bite size pieces
1/2 cup sweetened condensed milk

Instructions
1.Preheat oven to 350
2.Spray a 9x9 pan with nonstick spray and then line with parchment paper, making sure to leave some hanging over to make it easier to remove the cooked bars
3.Place chocolate & butter in a microwave safe dish and heat in the microwave in 30 second increments until the butter is melted and the chocolate is smooth when stirred
4.Set aside to let cool slightly
5.In a medium bowl whisk together the flour, baking powder & salt then set aside
6.In the bowl of a mixer beat sugar and chocolate mixture until well-blended
7.Add in eggs, one at a time beating until well combined after each egg
8.Mix in vanilla
9.Add in flour mixture in 3 or 4 portions, mixing until just combined
10.Pour batter into prepared pan and bake for 12 minutes
11.Remove pan from oven and sprinkle toppings over partially baked brownies
12.Evenly pour condensed milk over toppings
13.Bake for 30-35 minutes, or until set and starting to brown
14.Cool completely in pan on wire rack
